| A 'crate' may any of the following: - a plastic crate - a metal crate - an exercise pen - a small room or area of a room (anywhere that you can put your puppy or dog when you cannot be there. I like exercise pens when puppies are small because I can move it around as I need to. I like them to be in the same room as I am so I can talk to them and reach down and give them a pat and a rub. |
| Take your puppy out as soon as you get home. The puppy will be excited that you are home and an excited puppy is one that needs to go out! |
