Finally, we have puppies!
We are very excited, and the puppies look great. They have lovely heads & bodies. They are just
over three weeks old, and we can't wait until they are big enough to play with. We hold and talk to
them through out the day, and if they are being noisy, we just talk to them and they quiet down and
go to sleep. Their eyes are open and they are looking around. Now they are trying to walking and
they are barking when we come near. They are
just starting to try to wrestle with each other.
Right now, they are still sleeping and eating
all the time. They are getting fat as can be,
and we are all surprised at how big they have
grown in such a short time. They have great
coats & I expect a lot of length and undercoat
in these puppies. The puppies are really nice,
and I am having a difficult time deciding which
one will stay.

| All these puppies are CEA Normal because their dam is CEA/Clear. Some will be CEA/Clear (non-carriers). I will be Optigen testing these puppies as well as doing CERF exams. Even though we know these puppies will all be CEA Normal, since their dam is CEA/Clear (non-carrier of CEA) there are other things that a canine ophthalmologist can see during the exam. All puppies' eye check were excellent, no problems. |
